MojoMotor was made with one idea in mind: simplicity. In achieving this, MojoMotor had to be cut out of what other CMS's call the norm. For example, most CMSs nowadays have 'global' headers and footers that are all linked together, so that when one header/footer is edited all headers/footers are edited. For large sites with many different layouts, not having this feature could prove to be truly annoying if one had to change each of the headers on each of the layouts. In this tutorial, you will learn how to evade this problem using the ShowMe addon.
MojoBlocks is the missing piece of MojoMotor, easily allowing users to create simple sites for clients or for themselves. MojoBlocks 1.0 was released with 13 blocks that combine the functionality of normal MojoMotor addons with the ability to edit any given block's data as if it were a native MojoMotor region.
Recently I have been doing a fair amount of work directly in the layouts pane of MojoMotor and I have found that the default size of the window is hard to work in.
MojoMotor turned 1 year old this past Memorial Day Weekend! Although it wasn't available to purchase until July 29th of last summer, it was announced at the 2010 EECI conference in San Francisco. I was fortunate enough to be in attendance when Derek Allard proudly demoed Mojo. Now, Mojo isn't for everyone, but I found myself very excited as I knew this product would fit many of the needs of the clients and sites I build.
Sean Smith, of Caffeine Creations has gratiously given us some thoughts on the process of building Asian Football Solutions in MojoMotor!
I'm particularly interested in how the body class is added when the mojobar is opened! That was one that was hard to get around in the past.
