Congratulations! You've purchased your very first copy of MojoMotor! Now what? This article will walk you through the steps of downloading MojoMotor, uploading the files to your server, creating a MySQL database within cPanel, and finally getting MojoMotor installed.
I'm assuming that you have already gone through the process of purchasing a copy of MojoMotor. If not, please take a second to visit MojoMotor and do so.
Once you have purchased your copy MojoMotor, you can navigate to the MojoMotor home page and look for the download link.

If you aren't already logged in to the site, you will need to fill in your information in order to access your purchased downloads.

After logging in, you will see a screen that lists all the licenses credited to your account. Go ahead and click on the green download link to download a zip file containing the files necessary to install MojoMotor.

After the download completes, use an unzipping program to uncompress the file to your desktop.

Now that you have purchased a copy of MojoMotor, downloaded the application folder, and unzipped it to your desktop, you will need to upload the files to your web server. There are many different ways to upload your files, but basically you will need some type of an FTP client.
There are several options for free FTP programs. If you are on a Mac, check out FileZilla or if on a PC, take a look at Smart FTP. To make the connection with your server, you will have to consult the instructions for how to input your FTP details. You will need at least the following details in order to make a connection to your server:
You should be able to get this information from the email you received when you purchased your hosting plan. Contact your hosting company if you don't have this account information.

When you confirm the connection details and have your FTP program working, go ahead and upload all the contents of the MojoMotor folder to the root level of the server. Your completed upload should contain at least the following files and folders:

MojoMotor requires a MySQL database in order to store information. For this tutorial I am going to show you how to create one using a popular hosting account management tool, cPanel. cPanel is installed on a large number of hosting accounts and it offers you the ability to manage a variety of aspects of your web hosting account.
Using the details that have been provided to you from your hosting company, log in to your cPanel account.

Don't worry if your cPanel installation looks different than the screenshots below. There are a number of different themes available but the basic functionality remains the same throughout. Look for the MySQL Databases icon as this is where we will be creating your new database.

Go ahead and create a new database with whatever name you would like. Just make sure you remember what name you select as you will need this in the next step. Note that in this case, the name of my new database is not "mojomotor". Instead it is "jschutt_mojomotor".

The creation of the database is just the first step. Next we must create and add a user to the new database. Scroll down the MySQL Databases page and look for the "Add New User" section.
Finally, in the section titled "Add User to Database" select the user (Take note that the user name in this case is "jschutt_moadmin"), the database you just created, and click "Add".

After you've clicked add, you will be taken to a screen that is asking what types of permissions you'd like the user to have with the new database. Select all the options and click on "Make Changes".

Make sure that you write down the following information as MojoMotor will require it when we get to the installation process:
OK, we are getting close to actually installing MojoMotor! At this point you can log out of cPanel as we are done with the creation of the database and database user.
Believe it or not, the creation of the database and database user is actually the hardest part of a MojoMotor installation! Mojomotor is designed to be super simple and so the installation process has been streamlined.
Use your browser to navigate to the location that you uploaded the MojoMotor system files and you should be greeted with this:

This page has some links to the installation section of the MojoMotor documentation, but what we are concerned with is the link that continues the installation process.

Agree to the terms to continue.
This is the main installation screen for MojoMotor. The Site Settings section is all details that you are creating for the first time. The site title, admin email, and admin password are being created for the first time, so you don't have to worry about knowing what is supposed to go here. These are what you will use to manage your MojoMotor installation in the future. The Database Settings section is where you need to input the database details you generated while in cPanel.

If all goes well, you will be presented with this screen after continuing past the main installation screen.

Way to go! You were able to download a copy of MojoMotor, upload it to your server using an FTP program, create a database and user, and run the MojoMotor installation wizard!
If you view your main url now you should be able to see the default MojoMotor theme.

I'm particularly interested in how the body class is added when the mojobar is opened! That was one that was hard to get around in the past.
